  • What makes a great shoot?

An amazing shoot really comes down to being prepared, having stellar outfits, bringing value added props, scouting a relevant location and creating an environment encouraging your true selves to be expressed.

Here are some tips & tricks we have come across…

    • Men do NOT make her upset the day of the shoot
    • Gift yourself with a Makeup & Hair Appointment
    • Create a mood board with your photographer
    • Coordinate your outfits with the setting
    • Practice the Smize
    • Don’t over think it and just be you
    • Bring a friend to help out. You will appreciate the extra assistance

Also try to take the entire day off for your shoot. A great suggestion is to spend an intimate morning together; go for a massage or a nice stroll down memory lane.

    Hope this helps!

  • Fearless Photographers is an exceptional directory that leads you to find your perfect photographer. The members of this directory are unique individuals and groups that are always pushing the limits of photography, to bring you the most breathe-taking and out of the world photographs. Every two months a lucky few photographers are presented with the Fearless Award, in which photographers are open to submit wedding images that are meant to outshine and stand out.

On January 2014, I was awarded with a Fearless Award and it was just a complete honour to be apart of such an immensely talented group of photographers; to be recognized by such a great community helps not only myself but also my exceptionally gifted team at Banga Studios to continue to strive for greatness and boundless creativity. We here at Banga hope that this award is one of many to come, as we will continue to push the boundaries of photography to present the world with amazing images.

I wanted to take a moment to thank my parents who unceasingly harassed me to submit my images into contests and little did I know that I would be presented with such a great honour. This one is for you mom and dad!

    World in Focus

My fellow photographer Simmi and I were on an adventure through India when we noticed this intense cloud of smoke filling the sky from a distant. We were curious as to the cause of the smoke so, we went to investigate and that’s where we met a man named Dhruv working hard over the exact place the smoke was coming from. He responded well to our curiosity and shared with us the filtration process for creating brown sugar. While he worked I took a couple of shots of the process and got some amazing results!

After we got back I decided to enter the PDN World in Focus photo competition with the photographs I had taken of Dhruv. The Photo District News (PDN) is an award-winning magazine for the professional photography industry and I was thrilled when I found out I placed 1st in the travel category. It was just the best way to remember that incredible trip we had in India.
